materials from old pavements with new binders and aggregates. This eco-friendly

environmental impact. It offers durable, high-performance roads with lower
maintenance requirements. Recycling can be done on-site or at specialized
plants, depending on project needs. However, strict quality control and material
testing are essential to ensure the final product meets safety and durability
standards.

Demolition and construction waste can indeed be used to produce recycled
asphalt, a technique known as reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). This type of
asphalt is created by mixing recovered asphalt from worn-out pavements with
new binders and aggregates. Materials from demolition, such as asphalt and
aggregates (concrete, rubble), are recycled to produce asphalt that meets
durability and strength requirements.

Limitations and Precautions

Certain demolition materials, such as concrete or brick, can only be used under
strict conditions, as the properties of the mix must be carefully controlled to
ensure the final road can withstand loads and weather conditions. Quality and
compatibility tests are often necessary before using these materials in asphalt
projects .
