Respect Environnement Group (REG) had the honor of participating in the 18th edition of the Mediterranean Building Exhibition – Medibat 2025, held at the Sfax International Fair. This flagship event brought together key players from the building and construction sector across the Mediterranean region.

At the conclusion of this major event, REG was awarded 1st prize for Best Innovative Startup in the Green and Circular Economy category, a prestigious recognition celebrating our company’s innovation, environmental impact, and sustainable vision.

♻️ A Startup Committed to More Sustainable Construction
Since its creation, REG has been working to revolutionize the management of construction and demolition waste (CDW) through concrete, digital, and eco-friendly solutions. Our model is built on:

  • Sorting, collecting, and recovering construction site waste,
  • Integrating circular economy practices into the construction sector,
  • Developing digital solutions to optimize waste processing and traceability.

This award crowns years of commitment, research, and innovation in service of a greener future.

👏 Teamwork and Inspiring Leadership
This success is the result of a collective effort, driven by the passion and determination of the entire REG team. It would not have been possible without the vision and leadership of Mr. Zakaria Jaouadi, founder and CEO of REG, whose active role in the ecological transition of the sector has been widely recognized.

🗣 Official Recognition: The Minister’s Address
The event was also marked by a speech from Mr. Slah Zouari, Minister of Equipment and Housing, who emphasized the importance of projects like RE-MED in promoting sustainable practices in the construction industry. His address highlighted the need to strengthen synergy between public actors, startups, and providers of innovative solutions to build the cities of tomorrow.

🙏 Thanks and Looking Ahead
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Medibat organizers for this unique opportunity for visibility and exchange. Congratulations as well to all the startups and companies that took part, each contributing in their own way to transforming the construction sector.

This award fuels our motivation to continue our mission: reinventing construction waste management and building a more sustainable future together.
